ABout Me

Nicholas Freelove

Mystic, Shamanic Practitioner, and Poet

I was born and still live in the Pacific Northwest. Currently I live in Edmonds, Washington, and offer services in person in this area. I have been practicing Tarot, energy work, and other spiritual modalities since I woke up to my own interest and love in the mystical 10 years ago. What I love about spirituality, in general, is that it opens the doorway in our minds to consider meaning and value in new and enriching ways. I practiced Reiki, Cards, Pendulums, Pagan Rituals, Crystal Grids, and eventually settled into shamanism as my primary medium of practice. To me, shamanism is the art of living deeply and in ecstatic connection with everything around me. I am often joyous in readings and ceremony and spend much of my free time thinking about the next, or considering the next level of my own work in transforming. At my core – I seek to love everyone, live up to my birthname, and do as much good as I can in the time that I have. I have tremendous gratitude for my parents, siblings, friends, mentors, and mentees who keep me present in living my life to its fullest.

When I am not engaged with community rituals, celebrations, and healing ceremonies I enjoy a passion in poetry and writing about Love. My current projects are writing a poetry collection as well as launching my intuitive practice professionally.

Currently all my services are remote, but I look forward to the day I can offer services from a home office.

Soul Work

The purpose of my spiritual offerings are to empower, re-enchant, heal, and awaken old dreams and new. My deeper calling is to aid in the repairing of all our relations, and to deepen the intimate connection we all have with our own unique magic and calling.

History and Training

Apprentice at the Sundust Oracle Institute (SOI)

I began my shamanic training with Char Sundust at SOI in 2014, of which I am a continuing apprentice. I have completed all offered curriculums in Spiritual Identity and Applied Spirituality, and also participated as an assistant for years following. While I have received training and workshops, the bulk of my offerings have been directly supported through the ceremonial training offered at SOI. I love Char’s work dearly and recommend it strongly to anyone who feels called (Photo of us in ceremony on the right!). I pay deep homage to the traditions she has offered, as well as to her former mentor Angeles Arrien who wrote the Four-Fold Way; a guidebook to shamanic practice and ritual healing.

I think it is especially important for anyone seeking to heal or practice in spiritual healing to always continue to deepen in their own work. This is especially true for anyone offering ongoing mentoring. As an apprentice to this spiritual tradition I have regularly scheduled check-ins with all of my mentors. This is part of my commitment to my own spiritual leadership and development, and also for my own support; that I may better support others.

Mentoring and Spiritual Leadership is sacred territory. Integrity as a spiritual leader is, has always been, and will always be my first priority.

Ongoing Goals

Higher Education and Continued Service

As of September 2020 I am enrolled at Antioch University gaining further education in Psychology and Spirituality. Currently my goal is to finish an undergraduate degree and enter an MA program focusing on Mental Health Therapy and Counseling. I will be continuing regular mentorships and training through SOI and developing my spiritual offerings while working towards my degrees. My hope is to blend psychology and spirituality in the ways that will be helpful and nurturing to all. Wish me luck!
