Our History
- Confidentiality: Everything that happens in each session remains confidential.
- Safe Container: No romantic or sexual relationships are acceptable between myself and clients, students, or mentees. Spiritual love and the love between clients and practitioner or mentee and teacher are unique and separate from romantic and sexual love. This is a firm boundary necessary for creating safety and the ideal environment for personal growth.
- Safety: Your safety and Mine are essential. Threatening words and gestures are not tolerated. I reserve the right to discontinue any services that are causing harm in any capacity.
- Honor and Respect: We grow best when we are held in a state of honor, respect, and accountability. This is a place we meet each other in dignity.
- Integrity and Trust: To be impeccable with my word, and for there to be congruence between my words and actions.
- Compassion: Caring for the Soul is tender, heartbreaking work. If I have done anything that has harmed you, please reach out to me within 24 hours, three days, or seven days. I have no issue taking personal accountability for my mistakes.
- Accountability: I urge you to take full responsibility and accountability for your life and livelihood. Life is rarely fully predictable, and our personal choices are entirely our own.
- Disclaimer: Spiritual Guidance giving, soothsaying (truth-speaking), and healing are not a replacement for mental health counseling or clinical advice. If you are seeking clinical care, be advised I am not a clinician and cannot and will not diagnose or prescribe treatments for medical care.
- Collaboration: I am open to collaborating with other practitioners and spiritual care providers after exchanging ethics.
- Fees for Service: Spiritual offerings are often referred to as a gift, and many people believe these services should be free to access. I intend to offer donation readings as a way to give back. As much as I would love to be supported and provide services without cost, our society makes this lifestyle especially difficult to do without functioning as a church.
Cultural Appropriation: Some generations back I have a Cherokee ancestor. Of course, I am otherwise a mix of Scottish, English, and German. The reason I practice Indigenous philosophy and spirituality is because I heard the call as a child, a long time before I understood white colonial oppression and the terrifying impact it has had on and utter destruction of Native American culture. Today, I am no more native than I was as a child. I do offer prayers to the four directions, to the sky and earth, and to the great mystery that surrounds us all. I have been trained over years in a tiny number of these practices which mended my own soul, and so I offer some of these practices with a humble heart, and with Honor and Respect to those who have made it possible for these traditions to continue through the generations that have experienced great atrocities, and for the sake of generations to come. In regards to worthiness and the sacred work; I believe anyone who is willing to do the work is worthy of receiving it.
Celtic Prayer of Approach: I Honor your Gods, I drink at your well, I bring an undefended Heart to our meeting place, I will not negotiate by withholding, I have no cherished outcomes, I am not subject to disappointment.
